Overview

Tasksii is designed as a private, offline-first personal management app for tasks, calendar, notes, photos and locations. The app does not require an account, does not require cloud sync, and does not depend on a server database for your personal data.

Your Tasksii data is intended to stay on your own device unless you choose to export it, back it up, restore it, or share it yourself.

What Tasksii stores on your device

Depending on how you use the app, Tasksii may store the following locally on your device:

• Tasks, task titles, descriptions, priorities and completion status
• Workspaces and areas
• Calendar events and dates
• Notes and rich text content
• Photos or images you choose to attach
• Location information you choose to save to a task
• App preferences such as theme, sorting and interface settings
• Manual backup files you choose to create

Local storage

Tasksii stores app data locally in your browser or installed app environment, mainly using local device storage such as IndexedDB. This allows the app to work offline and avoids making a cloud account the centre of the product.

Photos and location

Tasksii may ask for photo or location access only when you use features that need them. For example, you may choose to attach a photo to a task or save a location for a site visit, garden job, field note or personal reminder.

Photo and location data is not intended to be uploaded to Tasksii servers. It is stored locally as part of your own app data.

Accounts and cloud sync

Tasksii does not require an account to use the core app. Tasksii does not provide automatic cloud sync for your personal app data.

If cloud or sync features are ever introduced in the future, they should be optional, clearly explained and separate from the offline-first core app.

Backups and restore

Tasksii is designed around manual backup and restore. When you export a backup, you are creating a file that may contain your tasks, calendar data, notes, photos, locations and settings.

You are responsible for where you store or share backup files. If you save a backup to cloud storage, email, messaging apps or another service, that service may process the file under its own terms and privacy policy.

Website and hosting logs

The Tasksii website may be hosted by a third-party hosting provider. Like most websites, the host may process basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, request time and pages visited for security, diagnostics and delivery of the website.

Tasksii should avoid unnecessary analytics, advertising trackers and behavioural profiling.

Support contact

If you contact Tasksii for support, you may choose to share your email address, message content, screenshots, device information or other details. This information is used to respond to your request and improve the product.

Please do not send private task, note, photo, calendar or location data unless it is necessary for support and you are comfortable sharing it.

Data sharing

Tasksii does not sell your personal productivity data. Tasksii does not use your tasks, notes, calendar entries, photos or locations for advertising.

Limited information may be processed by service providers used to run the public website, receive support messages, distribute the app, or provide app store services.

Data retention

Data stored locally in Tasksii remains on your device until you edit it, delete it, clear the app storage, uninstall the app, reset your browser data, or restore from a backup.

Support messages may be retained for as long as needed to respond, maintain records, prevent abuse, and improve the product.

Your choices

• You can choose not to grant photo access.
• You can choose not to grant location access.
• You can export your own backup.
• You can delete local app data from your browser or device settings.
• You can uninstall the app from your device.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over personal information handled by Tasksii, especially information you provide through support or website contact. These rights may include access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection and portability.
